Our Mission is to support and promote the visual welfare of the Arizona community.

Major efforts underwritten by the AzOCF are:

Vision USA Program
This program, which through the cooperation of a number of community organizations, member optometrists donate complete examinations and glasses. In 2006, over 1,300 low income Arizonans benefited from this project.

Arizona Foundation for Eye and the Arizona Telemedicine Opthalmic Program (ATOP)
The AzOCF is a major contributor to this effort to detect and treat diabetic retinopathy in low-income areas of Arizona.

Arizona Chapter of Prevent Blindness America
AzOCF is a significant partner in the assisting in allowing this organization to continue to reach out to the less fortunate in our community.

In its short time of operation, AzOCF has also contributed to Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D), Sun Sounds of Arizona, and Arizona Friends of Talking Books.
